Admin or Teaching Options

I am new to teaching abroad and have a few questions about my options. 

I have worked for the last 10 years in an urban district, with ECE, Elem Ed. and Admin Certs, with the last 4 years being a middle school administrator, math instructional coach, and testing coordinator. I will be traveling with two kids,12 years and 7 years and my huusband, who is not a teacher.

I am considering UAE, or East Asia. Here are some of my questions:

Would it be best for me to apply for an admin position or as a teacher with hopes of moving up, since I have no international experience? 
What place(s) offer the best packages for teachers with dependents (with free or low cost schooling)?
Also, what area would be best for raising children?

    It sounds like your more recent positions are admin related, so you could try to apply to that. Most teachers typically do not have much international experience, so you should apply to positions that you think are most relevant to your degrees and experience and don't really have to consider the international portion as much. You could always apply to both types of jobs as well and if you're a candidate of interest, a placement coordinator will be in touch with you. At that point, you could discuss with them your options as they will know more about those specific jobs.

    Thank you for taking the time to respond. So I have applied for an admin position for private schools, as well as some teaching positions and they are now closed. I was contacted for an ADEC teaching position, but I am just wondering why these other positions would be closed. I have the minimum qualifications; does it mean that I do not qualify, or they have other candidates, or the job has been put on hold?

    Are Private School Assistant Principal positions on hold?

    Hi Janine, sorry I can't seem to find that position on the job board. If it's not on the job board, unfortunately, hiring for it has either been stopped or paused at this time.
