I am still seeking consent from referees. Will this halt my application?

Hi my name is Elizabeth. I have applied for a few posts but I cannot yet add references as I am still chasing up consent and e mail of the referees. Will this be an immediate problem. Also I am rather mature!! I am 53yrs old will this go against an application?

    Hi Elizabeth, you actually don't need to add your references at this time -- this section is optional, as we understand some teachers may still be teaching. Once a placement coordinator has invited you for prescreen interview, then you will need to add these references.

    Do I need to add a resume as well as fill in the profile? Also are their still vacancies in the UAE?

    Yes, you need to upload both a resume and fill out your profile. Please make sure you double check the job requirements as well.

    I achieved both my diplomas in 1984 from St Andrew's college. This was the best teaching college at the time and it was before it was necessary to hold a degree. Could you look at my profile and advise if my Qualifications and experience would qualify me to teach in the UAE? I am working on my resume at the moment. Thank you

    Hi Elizabeth, I recommend you keep applying to Elementary teaching positions. From what I can tell, your profile seems complete. Please make sure you take a close look at the job requirements -- for example, some counsellor positions will require counselling experience.
