Hi Everyone!
I have recently applied to teach in U.A.E. (Dubai) and had my phone interview yesterday. The next interview process will be face-to-face on April 26th. What do I need to know and how should I best prepare?
Thank you'
Michael
Hello Michael, Congrats!! Where is your interview?
Congratulations, Michael. Which school in Dubai? Public or private? Are you experienced in the IB curriculum or PYP curriculum? Are you familiar with the British curriculum? Many of the international private schools follow these. How are your technology skills? Schools are looking more and more to integrate technology into the classroom, both in delivery and in student use of devices for learning. Are you familiar with the Muslim culture? Dubai is the most progressive city in the UAE. If you enjoy travel, it is a great home base. Good luck!
Hi everyone.
I'm a Cameroonian of nationality. I have a couple of years of teaching and ESL teaching experience at home and abroad. I'm in the UAE now and wish to find a teaching placement. My contract with a human resource company is ending next month, a couple of days ahead and I'm desperately searching for an alternative job accomodation. Most jobs I come across are asking for native speakers as an application requirement, meanwhile we speak English and French in Cameroon. Is there anyone who has any idea of a job placement for me anywhere in the UAE?
Thanks and cheers. Emmanuel
Hello, congratulations Michael! Good luck in your new position. Hope i will get a job in Dubai also!!!!!!!!!
