Teaching in South Korea with a friend who isn't a certified teacher

I'm planning on going abroad with my best friend next year. I have a bachelor of education but unfortunately, she wouldn't be a certified teacher. She'd have a bachelor of arts from her university. Can she still find a working position in a school even though she doesn't have her bachelor of education?

    Hi Ana,

    Great question! While you could qualify for licensed teaching positions with your B.Ed and a teaching license, your friend would not. However, there are ESL teaching positions in South Korea that she could very well qualify for! For these roles, her B.A plus a TEFL certification (https://teflonline.teachaway.com/) would qualify her.

    For this position, she wouldn't even require a TEFL certificate, as her training would take place once she's in Korea!
