How long should I wait for the employer's confirmation? They've already sent an email to me.

My application was classified as "direct to the employer". Then yes fortunately the employer sent an email informing me about the school's background, teachers' benefits (salary), and the likes. Also asking me to send some personal docs. Without any hesitation I responded to them and gave them the initial docs that they've asked from me. Now my question is, how long will it takes for me to wait til I get their confirmation that I am officially hired? Just some sort of idea. Thank you.

    Have they done a skype interview yet? I've had a few employers give me a job offer in the second interview, and they then followed it up with a written job offer within a couple of days and a date to get back to them by. I've heard the best thing to do is apply for a lot of jobs and then take the best offer, don't pine after that one.

    Thanks for your question. The direct-to-school postings are unique in the sense that hiring is handled by the school and not by Teach Away's recruitment team, which means I can't tell you exactly what their process/timelines typically look like.

    However, it is safe to assume that the job you're referring to received an abundance of applications for what could be only one opening. This is why I recommend you keep seeking job opportunities on the job board and continue to apply for positions you qualify for and that interest. More apps = better odds of getting hired.
