Hi, i've been on teach away platform for a year now and applied to a few jobs offer in the UK, Japan and Thailand around January this year. On my dashboard, these positions are no longer there. Is there a reason for that? I also sent an email to your team but nobody returned my message. Can you enlight me please with the jobs offer process once you've applied and it said submitted.

    hello, i think this platform is not for me after 2 failed attempt to speak to assistant, i would like to know please how can i delete my account with teach away.

    Hi Nathalie,

    Absolutely. Here's a step-by-step overview of the process:

    Once you've applied for a position, your application is reviewed - either by the hiring school (this is called a Direct to School job) or by Teach Away recruitment staff.

    Your application is either moved forward or is closed depending on whether or not you meet the job requirements and also how you stack up next to other candidates. Please keep in mind that in some cases, we receive hundreds of applications for a single position.

    If your application is being closed, you will likely not hear from the hiring school or from Teach Away. Your dashboard will simply be updated to note the new application status.

    If your application is moving forward, however, you will be reached by the hiring school or by Teach Away either by phone or by email.

    From here, the process is unique to the position. You may be required to attend a pre-screen interview on the phone with a Teach Away placement coordinator or you may be asked to interview with the school.

    Typically, you will hear back from Teach Away for the positions we manage within one week if your application is moving forward. For Direct to School jobs, this time frame may be a little bit longer depending on their recruitment procedures.

    Thank you for reaching out Mr Brett. I do understand your team receives a lot of emails or questions everyday , but yes my first attempt trying to talk to someone was via email but unfortunately nobody had returned me an answer. So i tried the second time via your forum. Thank you for Enlighten me on how the jobs process works once you submitted your interests for a position.
    Can you please look at profile and see if there's something to improve in order for me to teach abroad.

    Hi Nathalie,

    Is your profile 100% complete? Head to your teacher dashboard and you should see a percentage that notes how complete your profile is. If you're not quite at 100%, follow the suggested steps to get it there. A fully complete profile will help you have more successful applications.

    Does your team help people find jobs also according their profile? Like a sort of placement?

    Teach Away placement coordinators work with candidates for some positions. If you were to qualify for a position based on your experience and credentials, you will either receive contact from the school you applied to OR from a Teach Away representative. In the event you are provided with a Teach Away placement coordinator, this person will be able to help you prepare for the remainder of the application and pre-departure process. You are only assigned a placement coordinator for positions with certain schools and you must apply and qualify on a basic level first.
