After pre-screen interview?

I had a pre-screen interview a few days after applying for a post, however the face to face interviews were being held a few days later so my recruiter said that it may not be possible to get an interview this time round. Is there some way of me finding out the outcome please and whether I may be interviewed on the next round?

    Hi Tina,

    Thanks for your question. The first thing you need to do is visit your teacher dashboard and view the application status for the job you're inquiring about. If the status is closed, then I recommend applying for positions again. If the application is still open, there are likely more interviews coming up!

    My dashboard just says submitted, not closed.

    I know this may be a difficult question to answer but how long am I expected to wait?

    It was the English Teachers UAE - Government Schools.

    Hi Tina,

    Thanks for clearing that up!

    UAE Government Schools are an interesting case - your application might stay as "submitted" for longer than usual. This is because there are currently no interviews scheduled. We are hopeful that they elect to schedule more interviews for these positions, so that we can move candidates like you forward! We don't want to close your application in case interviews are scheduled soon, but we also can't proceed right this moment. Interview scheduling is up to UAE Government Schools themselves, though, so we'll have to be patient!

    In the meantime, I recommend applying for other positions you might be interested in. Other postings will be a much faster process than UAE Government Schools are right now.

    That's completely fine I am happy to wait for the next round of interviews and happy for a later start date. I can be quite flexible with it all if required.
