Applying for Job with no clear deadline

Hi! I applied for a position in the UAE that does not have a closing date. It shows my application has been submitted, but am wondering since there is no closure date, when might I hear from someone as to whether my profile is something of interest to the school or not.  I have only just recently applied (December 27th), and am guessing the holidays may be impacting the process.  Thank you.

    Hello Nancy;

    Welcome to the forum! All positions that are open on the job board, we are still accepting applications and therefore are open. Do keep in mind that you can view the status of your application from your dashboard and if you are selected for an initial interview, our placement coordinators will get in touch with you. If you have applied to a Direct to School position, the school will directly contact you if you are considered a successful candidate

    Hi Shirin,

    I understand that the job search is still open for the submitted jobs I applied for - but am wondering when and if they close. As I stated above, my dashboard shows that they were submitted, but no response. Do I take that as the placement coordinator does not believe I meet the qualifications as it has been 15 days since I applied for the first position in the UAE? Thank you

    Hello Nancy;

    You can still check the status of your application through your profile and dashboard (for all non-direct to school positions). I can see that you have applied to 2 positions, one on December 27th and one January 7th. Do keep in mind that you will see a status update typically within 1-2 weeks (and this is subject to holidays and business working days). With the holiday season just behind us, we are working hard to review and update the applications we have received, we want to make sure each application is given the attention and time it deserves.

    In the meantime, I encourage you to go back to the job board and apply to more positions that you are interested in
