Do I qualify to teach abroad.

I recieved my BEd (FET) degree in 2013.  For the first few months i struggled to get work as the goverment was to place me in order for me to pay back my student loan. I did not recieve a post due many unconfirmed reasons. I took it upon myself to find work where ever i could in order to provide for myself. long story short. i have been a waiter for 2 years now and feel i am wasting all my talents and qualifications. i am extremely motivated and willing to work strenuous hours so that i my ask my long term girlfriend to marry me. Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Hi Wessel, since you have finished your BEd, you definitely meet the education requirements to teach abroad. Make sure you complete your profile entirely, including any teaching experience you have, even if it is from before your certification.

    Do you have your teaching license as well?

    I have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, and have experience teaching for around 6 months, and I would love to teach abroad, do i qualify for it? and what are the processes I have to go through in-order to teach plus I am from Canada, can there be online interview ?

    Hi Shaista, you have to make sure you have completed your teacher profile with your degrees, certificates, and experience in order to apply for jobs. It sounds like you could qualify to teach ESL. Here's a link to our ESL teaching positions: https://www.teachaway.com/teaching-jobs-abroad
