Does anyone know how the council really chooses their teachers to hire. What are they looking for, really.

I had a pre-screening, which I thought really well. However, I was not chosen. Does anyone know how they really choose there teachers. According to the criteria I was more than qualified. I am certified K-8 and have concentrations certifications in math, reading, science and social studies in middle grades. I really dont understand what they are really looking for, so if someone really knows please share.

    Sorry to hear about that, Indira. Unfortunately, like any job application and job hunt process, these teaching positions are very competitive. The main thing to keep in mind during your job hunt is to continue applying to relevant teaching positions, which I see you have been doing (ie// keep applying to specific subjects you have taught and for specific grade levels you have taught). Keep applying if you can, check out some other countries if you're willing to move to different regions, and good luck!
