If a position I applied for says closed under status, What does that mean? if it is not being considred what could be the reason

Assalam u alaykum
Im nooshin living in S.A Insha Allah hope to teach in Abu Dhabi in 2018.

I am married with one child and I have been teaching for- four years now.
