My partner and I are both teachers and would like to teach in the Middle East. Do these countries allow unmarried couples?

Hello,

My partner and I would like to teach in Dubai or Kuwait. From what I gather the teaching positions are either for single or married couples only. Is it a possibility to teach in these countries unmarried? Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you.

    No. It is against the law to live together if you aren't married.

    Hi Erin, unfortunately Martha is correct. UAE and Kuwait do not recognize common law and you would need a marriage certificate.
