Hi,

 

I've been signed up to this website for a while, and initially I had planned to apply for jobs for a September 2016 start. However, my husband has decided to get his teaching qualification in September 2016-17. This means I can't start looking for teaching jobs abroad for now, but for a 2017 start. 

 

I was was just wondering when the jobs for 2017 start coming out so I can keep looking. Also, my husband will be an NQT by then, are there any instances where we would both be able to be considered for job opportunities by the same school?

    Hi Rachel,

    If you're looking for Jan 2017 start dates, you should keep an eye out now. If you're looking for Aug 2017 start dates, you can check back in October and we'll start posting those positions.

    Hi Janice,

    I'm currently a teacher in Chicago (2+ years) with student teaching experience in NYC, with both a masters in education and a bachelors degree in Middle East Studies. I've also had several semester of Arabic.

    Can you take a look at my profile? What else can I add? I added all of my certifications and education, but it still says I'm only at 65%.

    Hi Tawni, thanks for leaving a message. I just took a look and it seems complete on my end and should be good to go. Your profile might be at 65% because you haven't uploaded your documentation yet, (which isn't actually required at this stage). Once you are in the pre-screen stage, you can add this in.

    Some of your past job apps may have been closed because they require 3+ years of post-qualification teaching experience.     hi Janice, it seems like i applied for this job in February then my profile was incomplete, i tried applying again but i couldn't, what should i do?

    Hello,

    You can not re-apply to a position that you already have applied to. I would recommend you to complete your profile as soon as you can so that it reflects on your application and make sure that moving forward your profile is complete before applying

    Hi All, I am in the same boat as Rachel...I am a BIG preplanner so I am starting on this process now for fall of 2017. I am currently teaching first grade and have been in education for 22 years. Happy to have found this site!

    Hello

    I am currently a special education teacher with a teaching license for 6-12 grade. I have applied for several positions but I keep obtaining "application was unsuccessful" responses. Are there certain positions I should be looking for or do you not offer positions for special education teachers?

    I have recently added my profile. I am a Professional School Counselor (Master's Degree) with a total of 14 years experience in education. I am interested in the opportunity to live overseas, learn some Arabic, and introduce my family to the world outside of the US. There aren't very many opportunities for School Counselors, but are there other opportunities available that you've seen that will fit my level of experience? I am excited as to what this opportunity might bring.
