What types of questions are appropriate to ask during the pre-screen/phone interview?

Hello!

I have an upcoming pre-screen/phone interview, and I am wondering about the types of questions I can ask.  I have many questions about specifics of the school I am applying for (e.g., the community, collaboration among staff, etc.) as well as questions about living in the country I am applying to (e.g., housing, taxes, etc).  Would the placement coordinator be able to answer school-specific questions or should those questions be held until the second interview with the school director/principal?

    Hi Elizabeth, it totally depends on the program and school. Our placement coordinators will try their best to answer your questions, but we may not be able to answer 100% of them during the prescreen (particularly questions specific to the school you're applying to). You can definitely bring those questions to your second interview though. Feel free to ask anyway, and your PC will be able to tell you if they can answer this now or later.
