   Hi Golda,

   We accept applicants from all backgrounds.

   However, some of the schools hiring teachers through Teach Away may have specific requirements (for example, an American curriculum international school may require teachers to have X number of years experience teaching in the US).

   In short, I encourage you to create a Teach Away profile and keep it up to date! Just check job postings individually.

   Are you a native English speaker by any chance? Primarily, you'll find positions for English-speaking teachers on the Teach Away job board.
