I am a retired teacher and CPA. Many years ago I had a teaching certificate in the state of Montana where I taught elementary school.
One of the most unique teaching experiences I've had is teaching women to fly fish. My family owned a fly fishing business and in 1973 we implemented a program called "For Ladies Only". I was the first woman fly fishing guide in Montana and the first woman to teach other women how to fly fish. I designed the curriculum and practical experience segment.
Through the Small Business Administration, I taught small business owners and entrepreneurs business concepts, payroll, business planning and budgeting.
I miss teaching and now that I'm retired,d I'm looking forward to putting my teaching skills to use again.
