I don't have a teaching license and now a days I am teaching in an American School in UAE. I studied in Pakistan and we never need teaching license to teach in Pakistan. My degree is BS(Honors) Computational Physics (16 year education). Can anyone guide me about this issue because to apply in ADEC i have to have teaching licence.

    Hello Ali Raza;

    Welcome to the forum! In terms of UAE-specific positions, the general requirements across the board include (this might change over time):

    1. A Bachelor's degree, at minimum
    2. A current teaching license from your local government, or A TESL/TEFL certification, relevant to whatever subject you wish to teach (for example, if you wanted to teach math, you will need a teaching license in math; a TESL or TEFL is not a teaching license)
    3. Two years of relevant teaching experience at the required teaching level (for example, if you were applying to teach high school level English, then you would need to have had at least two years of teaching high school English; elementary or middle school level would not be accepted)
