I realized a few of my references were never completed and I am curious if this is the reason why all my applications have stayed on "submitted" for a long period of time. Let me know. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum! I had a quick look at your profile and you have 4 positions that are in 'Submitted' status. You have submitted 3 of these applications 2 days ago (August 28th), typically if you are selected to move forward with your application, in 1-2 weeks one of our placement coordinators will get in touch with you. Hopefully, you'll hear something from us soon if you are selected to move forward with your applications.
For the application that is in submitted from November, we are still waiting on a response to an email sent to you by Linda, do make sure to check your spam folder in case this has been filtered.
In the meantime, I encourage you to apply to more positions as you are interested
