Why is a position 'closed' although it is still posted on the site?

Hello,

I am a seasoned teacher who applied for a postion in Mexico.

The job is still posted on the site.

Each time I log on I see 'closed',  Does that mean closed for me or the position has been filled.

Is there an age restriction as there is in the Middle East?

    Hi Edeit, unfortunately that means that your application was unsuccessful. I encourage you to keep applying for positions that you have experience teaching in (subject and grade level). There is typically a maximum age limit for work visas, but this varies from country to country. Typically, if you're under 60 you should be fine for most of the countries. I'd double check with your local embassy to make sure.

    I have years of experience and a Master's Degree.
    I have also taught in Al Ain for a year.
