The jobs advertised here for Kuwait all seem to be exclusively for certified teachers... does anybody know if there are jobs at language institutes or the like which do not require certification?
My wife recently took up a job in Kuwait, but as women cannot sponsor husbands for a residence visa I am stuck needing to get a job in order to join her.
I've spent the last 11 years working as an EFL teacher in South Korea, however my major is in Archaeology and Heritage... I hold an MA in the subject. I'm going to be staying in Kuwait for a few months from the end of October with my wife... will being in country help me find more opportunities, and what kind of chance do I have of landing an EFL job (or other teaching job... I can technically teach History, Geography and Earth Science with my major) without a teaching license?
