Teaching license

Hello, I am a new member in this site. I have Master degree in English Language and now I am a teacher at a higher institution. Should I have a teaching license to apply and to benefit from such opportunities? Knowing that in my country we do not have a teaching license to teach, instead, diploma allows us to teach without any problem. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sana, many of our more lucrative jobs will require a teaching license, including all of our UAE jobs which many teachers inquire about. That being said, there are also many opportunities for ESL instructors. Generally speaking, you will receive a higher salary and have more opportunities if you have a teaching license, but it is a license that does take some time to obtain.

    I have another question about this topic. Does the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) given by the General Council of Education for England count as a Teaching License?

    Yes! The QTS does count.

    Is there B.Ed.(one year) license degree for middle east???
