Do I have to have 2 years' experience?

Hi there,

I'm really interested in Foreign Language teaching jobs in the UAE, but every job advertisiment I see specifies 2 years' experience.  I'm actually in my first full year of teaching, having trained to teach last year.  Does anyone know how stringent schools are about the 2 year rule?  I have a plenty of life experience, but am still a recently qualified teacher!

    Hi Simon, schools are pretty stringent on this requirement as positions in the UAE are highly competitive.
