Hello,
I wanted to know more a bout what sort of licence required and how can I obtain one
I was working as a teacher in Egypt then left the country since 8 years doing different job and now I am back to teaching field in Ireland in private school. I Have got 3 years experience in total . I will highly appreciate if you can help me to find out more a bout this licence.

    Les here from New Zealand. Depending on where you desire to teach, I would suspect that they will require some sort of evidence (on paper as copies of your qualifications) and also some evidence of teacher guided professional development usually carried out in/through self-review or appraisal. In NZ, there is no way (though there are levels of teacher status) you can teach without the appropriate application for teacher registration to teach in the beginning. There are complications (salary and time) and hold-ups with severe cases where schools get notice that what they are doing is illegal.

    Sort out what the requirements are and make sure you can provide the necessary paperwork. A piece of advice that I've posted earlier, is that, it would not be appropriate for them to ask you for more information. To avoid this, provide all that is necessary. Again, (my mantra over my last four or five posts) - 'put your best foot forward, so you become the first choice candidate.'

    Hi Hussein;

    Welcome to the forum! Typically, most of our postings require you to have a Bachelor's degree, teaching license and some years of certified teaching experience. However this is not the case for all postings, to keep an open mind and apply to the jobs that interest you.

    I would recommend you to do your own independent research with regards to whats needed for you to obtain a license.
