Representatives?!

Hello, 

My name is Derek Clover. I'm seeking help on knowing who is my representative because I have applied for several jobs with no call backs or anything. No one from Teachaway has contacted me about anything. I have my ADEC approval to teach in Abu Dhabi cycle 2, and I'm here in Abu Dhabi ready for find another job. But I have yet to be contacted by anyone via telephone or email. Can someone please help me?!

    I'm in the same situation, no one has contacted me, it's strange...

    It may depend on the position and place. Even though my application wasn't finished, I submitted to two places. Right away one closed the application; they were going for the applicants with complete applications. The other set up an interview based on the parts I'd completed, the position to be filled, and the need to fill vacant positions by a particular time. That posting was removed when the position was filled; the closed one is still on my dashboard. I was surprised at how fast all of this happened. I now have another listing up on my unfinished application; it has been there for a few weeks and hasn't been viewed yet. It may be awhile. Earlier in a post, it's been stated that they have to review many applications so it may take a while for them to process them all.

    Hi Ameerah;

    Welcome to the forum! I had a look at your profile, unfortunately two of the jobs you applied to had been filled and thats the reason it shows as closed on your dashboard. I entourage you to continue applying to the positions that interest you

    If your application status is "closed" -- this indicates that your application was reviewed and did not meet the requirements of the job posting, or that the position had already been filled by another candidate. We encourage you to continue applying.

    If your application meets the requirements of the job posting, our coordinators will be in touch with you within one to two weeks for a pre-screening. Due to the volume of applications we receive each day, we do not contact applicants if they are denied. Our advice is to keep an open mind, to apply, and to keep checking your application status on your profile.
