Teaching certificate

Many of the U.A.E. jobs require a teaching certificate. I've been teaching in Asia with a bachelors degree and a TEFL however I'd like to be eligible for jobs in the U.A.E. Are there any teaching certificates that are unacceptable? I want to make sure I find the right program.

Hi Aleya, you're right, unfortunately to teach in international schools or with ADEC, someone must have a teaching certificate issued by a regulatory body in their state/province/country. Hope that helps!

I have my BS in Business Management and played D1 basketball in college and looking to teach in UAE, possibly in Physical Education, Math, or Administration. Would I be eligible without teaching experience when I get the TEFL Certification? Because I am currently a bank teller and considering to get in the school system if it is required.
