Why is my application closed? And how do I permanently close this account?

Hi,

I have applied for at least 8 positions all within my field of expertise, yet all of the applications have been closed. I'd like to know why considering I meet the criteria. I am a certified primary teacher with a bachelors, a masters, a TESOL certificate and three years teaching experience, yet every one of the applications has been rejected. 

Also, since it does not seem likely that I will receive an offer from this site, I'd like to permantley close this account. There is a lot of information on it. How do I go about doing that?

    Hi Erin,

    Totally understand that you might be feeling a bit frustrated - sorry to hear! I just took a look at your profile and I think the main reason why your job apps are being closed is that the positions you are applying for require post-qualification teaching experience (and by qualification, it has to be issued by state and an ESL teaching certification does not count). While you have a lot of great teaching experience prior to your qualification last month, most schools are not lenient with this post-qualification requirement. Right now, all our positions for new grads who have just received teaching certificates have been filled, but if you are looking for a position in Jan 2017, I recommend you check our job board in October. With your past teaching experience, you will have an upper hand compared to new grads with no teaching experience, so I encourage you to apply!
