I have taught in Saudi Arabia, but am now interested in going to Malaysia. Has anyone in this forum ever taught there? Do they have age restrictions (I am 61 and in good health). What's the best place to work in Malaysia!
Thanks so much.

Hi, I have worked in Malaysia. Most companies will hire you if you're over 60 and healthy. Beautiful region with lots of social and travel opportunities. I would recommend it highly

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to go about applying for teaching positions in Malaysia. I am 47 and am completing my Masters in Education. Any info on agencies or direct school boards would be welcome.
I currently live and teach here. It is relatively easy to find a teaching job with the right qualification. There are also many language centers that will hire based on just being a native speaker. Check online for places like WallStreet English, EMS and such. Salaries for the better qualified should run about RM4000-8000 per month depending on place and city. Good luck!
