How do I apply for this College Counseling job?

Hello TeachAway Staff, 

I am interested in applying for the "College Counselor - Private International School" in Seoul, South Korea, but it won't allow me to apply. I understand that my most recent experience is teaching, but the post requires a School Health and Welfare candidate. I have had prior experience in counseling, but how can I go about applying?

    Hi Deanna, this is unfortunately a restriction we have because we previously had a lot of teachers apply for positions that they don't qualify for. If you believe you are qualified for this counseling position, you can change your teacher category. This is how you change it from your teacher dashboard: http://take.ms/1sIXM

    It appears this method is no longer working. Should I keep my profile as teaching or change it to school health?

    Hi Adrienne,

    If you're applying for teaching positions, keep your profile as a teacher. If you're looking to attain a position as a counselor, I recommend changing your profile to reflect this.
