Another question: Hubby is studying B.Ed and enrolled for a TEFL 150 masters programme...are there any teaching assistant jobs? Where can one apply or would that only suffice in Thailand?
Hi again Sarelle:
You can view the ESL teaching jobs at https://www.teachaway.com/teaching-jobs-abroad?loc=All&jcat=ESL+Teaching&lvl=All&sub=All. If he is interested in teaching in Thailand, it will be important for you to research institutions/schools, I would recommend you to take sometime, have a look at our job board and keep an open mind and start applying to the jobs that interest him
Good luck with your search
Hi Sarelle, if he finishes his BEd and gets his teaching license, then he can be eligible to teach ESL as well as his specialization or subject/grade level he is licensed to teach in. You can view the ESL teaching positions that Shirin posted or he can also explore some select programmes that will take new graduates with little post-qualification teaching experience in countries such as Qatar or Kuwait.
