Can I get a Job in Dubai ?

Hi,

I am Mrs.Lijo jacob.I teach biology,chemistry and general psychology.I have over 11 years of experience as educator and as an administrator.I am an Indian passport holder and permanent resident of South Africa.I have been trying to find a job in Dubai or in UAE.Unfortunately unable even to get an interview  calls.Some of the recruiters refused to accept my CV ,beacuse I am an Indian..........

    Hi Mrs Lijo. My situation is almost similar to yours. I think you can get a job in Dubai, but seemingly the chances are extremely small. Seems like the South African teachers that the agencies want are "South African educated with SA nationality". This is my reading of the criteria I have seen in most platforms recruiting for these schools in the middle east, far east, etc- I maybe wrong! Some of the agencies' websites will not even allow you to upload your CV if you are not a citizen of specific countries: UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa. They say these are stipulations by the schools. I guess if the probability of getting the job is not 0% one can keep trying. Good luck !

    Hi, i'm from Malaysia..so i guess i don't even stand a chance is it? =(
    but it's ok..maybe great opportunity is waiting ahead.who knows right? =)
