Teaching licence

I'm currently at university and will get my teaching license by July, and I am applying for jobs starting in August. How will I write ti in my profile so that employers will know I'll be licenced by than but haven't received it now when i apply for the position?

    Hi Anna,

    This is a really solid question and one that needs an updated answer. For now, I recommend marking on your profile that you are a licensed teacher and continuing to apply for jobs. As you move on with a particular position, you'll be able to mention your situation to your placement coordinator. As soon as your teaching license is in hand, you can then update your profile to add it.

    I'm going to check in with our recruitment team and find out a bit more about the best way to go about this. Which positions starting in August are you primarily focused on?

    No problem at all! Happy to help.

    I've checked in with our recruitment team and they've let me know the easiest way for them to know you'll be ready to teach in August is to add their teaching license to your Teach Away profile now, but date it for July 2018.

    Hopefully you can find an opportunity as soon as possible!
