Reading through the forum, and our placement coordinators are referenced as contacts several times. When do we get in touch with a placement coordinator? ex. once we complete our profile fully, or once we have made an application?

What if the application is "directly with the school and not through a placement coordinator"? It appears as though that means the applicant is on their own. So far every job I've clicked says that. Is there any process through this website where the application is represented THROUGH TeachAway?
Hi Jonathan, thanks for your question! The job board is approximately a 50/50 split between vacancies that are handled by Teach Away directly and those that are managed by the hiring school. While we do not oversee every step of the way in the latter case, you do still have the support of Teach Away throughout your journey to teach abroad, no matter the hiring process. We always strive to work with schools that uphold the highest standards both in hiring and employment practices so applying for these vacancies by no means leaves the applicant "on their own".
