I am applying to work in Dubai and Abu Dhabi,

I was wondering if teachers received pay even in the summer months while on leave and durring the winter holidays?

About how much do they take out for health care and local taxes?

    Hi Lilla, this will depend on the program and school. ADEC is on a 12 month pay basis, but for other UAE private schools, this varies a lot. They will typically be on a 12 month basis though. Feel free to ask your placement coordinator -- if you are a candidate of interest, they will reach out to you after you have applied. Also, the taxes and health question would be a great one for your placement coordinator as well.
