Hi I am new to this forum and want to find out more about teaching in Abu Dhabi. I am more worried about my two children who will be 16 and 13 and the possibility of them getting a place in schools over there. we leave in the UK and I have been teaching since 2010 when I got my PGCE. I am a qualified language teacher but have been teaching in a special needs school so I get to teach other subjects too (mainly Maths ) at KS3 level. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum! it is natural to worry about the big move, and when children are involved more layers get added to it. I highly recommend you to have a read through this blog post: https://www.teachaway.com/2015/11/19/take-your-kids-abroad and do keep in mind, that you can also discuss the nitty gritty details of your teaching benefits, including where your kids will potentially go to school to and what coverage they get, once you are contacted for an intial interview
