Teaching in Asia as a woman of color

How difficult is it to get a job teaching as a woman of color (Af. American) in S. Korea or Japan? I keep hearing stories about the difficulties because people believe only white people are true English speakers. I am looking for work in April or June and I have a lot of experience in the U.S., if anyone has any suggestions on where to look.

    Welcome to the forum! We have teachers from different backgrounds and ethnicities applying to positions in Asia and many other locations. If you are interested in teaching in Asia, I recommend you to make sure you have all the required qualifications and experience and I encourage you to apply to the positions that you are interested in.
