US Teaching Certification but not American, can I still teach

Hello, 

My name is Crystal. I am a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago (an English speaking Caribbean island). I have New York City teacher certification and license where I got my Masters in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I have 4 years teaching experience (abroad, and in my country).I have been using this site for over a month now and have not had much success. I have been tirelessly applying and checking vacancies but to no avail. Is there any advice that anyone can share? What am I doing wrong?

    Hi Crystal,

    Thank you for your question. For positions in the Middle East, a teaching certification (which you have) as well as relevant teaching experience related to the degree is required. For example, if you have ESL teaching experience and are educated to teach ELL, we recommend that you apply for ESL/ELL teaching positions.
