Good day,
My name is Andrea. I am a certified teacher in Illinois, United States of America. I have a spouse and 2 children. I have taught Pre-K, 4th, and 7th grade. I would absolutely love the experience to teach abroad! My area of interest is the UAE.

I would like to know if my chances of being hired are limited due to the fact that I have a family?

This is a great question and we regularly place teachers with their families, the key to making your move a reality, though, is finding jobs abroad that offer the right benefit packages. Ideally, a parent moving abroad to teach would receive airfare, tuition, accommodation, and other perks for their children. Positions offering this full package do exist with Teach Away. There are also positions that offer one or some of these benefits. The UAE region is among the regions that offer the best benefits for teachers looking to move with their families.
