Teaching Couple & Follow Up application

Hi-

My husband and I just completed our applications, but not sure how to link our applications because we are a teaching couple.  Also, how can we follow up with an adviser regarding our applications?  We are highly qualified, recently married and looking for our next adventure while continuing our teaching career!

    Hi Sabrina,
    Where are you looking to move to? Myself and my husband are planning a move to Abu Dhabi next September with our two young chidlren.
    We are both looking for teaching jobs.

    Hi Una!

    My husband and I are looking to move to Hong Kong or Asia as my family is from there. Have you heard from anyone from Teach Away? I am quite concerned no one has reached out to us yet.

    There is no need for concern! You may check on the status of your application by clicking the button labelled "My Apps" on your profile for all non-direct to school positions at www.teachaway.com.

    If your application status is "closed" -- this indicates that your application was reviewed and did not meet the requirements of the job posting, or that the position had already been filled by another candidate. We encourage you to continue applying.

    If your application meets the requirements of the job posting, our coordinators will be in touch with you within one to two weeks for a pre-screening. Due to the volume of applications we receive each day, we do not contact applicants if they are denied. Our advice is to keep an open mind, to apply, and to keep checking your application status on your profile.

    Hello Sabrina;

    Welcome to the forum! We love teaching couples/friends who apply together. Placement together is never guaranteed. However, your best option would be to apply to the same positions and to mention to your placement coordinator and/or school that you are a teaching couple.
