Can women teach in the UAE if they have tattoos?

I am waiting to get an interview date for teaching English in the UAE beginning in August 2018. I do have several tattoos. I understand that I need to have shoulders, waist and knees covered. I do however have tattoos on my ankles, feet, wrists and hand all of which can be covered if needed. I do not want to offend the culture. What suggestions or comments do you have that will give me a better understanding of what I am looking into?

    Hi Gina,

    How covered your tattoos need to be may vary from school to school in the UAE, but as a general rule, it would be best to have them as covered as you can. I've chatted with some of our recruitment staff here at Teach Away who have taught in the UAE themselves and apparently having any tattoos covered is the best way to go. Private schools may be slightly more lenient than government schools when it comes to tattoos.
