Hello All,

I am new to the site. I was reading through the forum and am very excited for everyone who have received a teaching job abroad. I've just applied for a teaching position in Doha, Qatar and also in China. I am excited and nervous about the whole process! Does anyone have any pointers for me? What exactly are they looking for in a teacher? If anyone would like to give me some encouragement, please feel free to do so? Thank you so much!

    Vanessa. How did it go? I'm waiting for a in person interview so I'm just curious. I really want to know about the housing provided did you discuss it during your interview also did you have options to where the interview would take place?

    Vanessa, good luck! I am also new to site applied for a teaching position in Dubai, and also worried, if there any chance to get a job. Because I also have my spouse and my two kids.....

    Kamilla O - did you learn any more about teaching in Dubai? I would love to hear from you as I myself am looking to apply with my spouse and daughter coming too. Is your other half a teacher as well? Mine is a teaching assistant here but I don't think that would apply over there as he does not have a degree.
