I no most of the schools now require a teaching license but i hear that some schools still take on a few teachers straight out of college. Has anyone any suggestions or names of schools i should check out?
It is my understanding that the UAE has recently increased the number of years of teaching experience from two to four. Also, a teaching certificate/license is required. A bachelors degree is not sufficient. After you have completed your course of study (Elem Ed, HS Mathematics, HS History, etc), you must take the required state testing and pass in order to be given a teaching certificate/license. I am from Missouri. You must complete your required program and then pass what is known as the PRAXIS in order to be a certified/licensed teacher.

From my understanding a teaching license is a must.
