Has anyone been contacted for a job teaching elementary in August 2017?

I was contacted in August because I applied for a job that started in January of 2017 by mistake. I have prior obligatiosn that do not end until May 2017. I was told I would be contacted once the Fall 2017 jobs came out. I applied for the same job again for Fall 2017 and now my application is closed. I'm a little confused by the situation.

    I did a pre-screen interview yesterday, and was shortlisted for interviews in November.

    What sort of question do they ask you while on phone pre-screening interview? could you please tell me in detail

    Hi There, please advise in order to get a teaching post overseas does the applicant have to have teaching experience. I am a qualified teacher and have practice teaching experience however after i have qualified i have not got a position in a school as yet. Please advise as in most of the vacancy positions available they are requesting for 2 Year teaching experience.

    Welcome to the forum! the experience required depends on the position and school and varies across the board. There are positions that do not require some experience, keep your eye on the job board, filter with your preferences and apply to those that you are qualified for

    Yes I had a phone screening within a day after submitting my application. Unfortunately, I was not shortlisted for an interview.

    Hello, I have applied on Nov 8 and it says submitted! I called yesterday and left a voice message but nobody returned the call! The profile shows 65% complete. I do not know what can I do to be considered! Please, advice!

    If your application status is "closed" -- this indicates that your application was reviewed and did not meet the requirements of the job posting, or that the position had already been filled by another candidate. We encourage you to continue applying.

    If your application meets the requirements of the job posting, our coordinators will be in touch with you within one to two weeks for a pre-screening. Due to the volume of applications we receive each day, we do not contact applicants if they are denied.     Hey. I have been offered a job by the ministry of education. They have stated a basic salary and a supplementary allowance which sums up to 4500 pound a month. Is this the total payment i will recieve a month?

The expert in the breakdown of your salary is your placement coordinator and I recommend you to get in touch with them to clarify any questions you might have on the details. They are your best resource. Typically the allowance is included in your monthly income, I encourage you to check this with your placement coordinator

    Hello! I applied for the San Francisco job fair and I heard back from them within a day. I'm scheduled for a telephone interview this next Tuesday. However, I applied to several jobs in UAE as of last week and the status still shows "submitted." When should I expect to hear back from them? Or is the job fair and this upcoming telephone interview the first step?
